Briggate, Seaman
Undated. View shows the premises of Alfred Seaman, photographer, at number 93 Briggate. On the left is the narrow archway leading to Bramley's Yard, and on the far left is the shop of William Greenwood, jeweller. On the right can be seen the premises of the Cash Boot Company, boot and shoe dealers. Alfred Seaman was a Victorian and Edwardian photographer, with a network of studios in the Midlands and the North of England. The shops are decorated with flags and bunting, probably for the visit to Leeds of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1908.
