Woodside Roundabout on the Ring Road
Description:
c1960. Image shows Woodside Roundabout on the outer Ring Road, looking towards West Park. On the left, at the junction with Low Lane is the Woodside Tavern serving Melbourne Ales. Low Lane continues, right, at the other side of the roundabout. The blocks of flats in the background are Clayton Court, left, and Clayton Grange, right, located at the bottom of Fillingfur Drive, part of the Moor Grange Estate. Moor Grange Estate was built on re-claimed farmland in the 1950s.
