View of the Kardomah Cafe located at numbers 65 to 66 Briggate. The cafe opened here in 1908 and was to close on 14th August 1965. At the time of the photograph the manager was William Brindle. The frontage has been decorated in bunting and union jacks in celebration of the royal silver jubilee of King George V. Lettering in the windows advertises 'Exhibition Tea Rooms' and the 'Depot for Kardomah Rooms' and the 'Depot for Kardomah Teas and Coffees'.
