Description:
27th July 1927. Her Royal Highness, Princess Mary attends a garden party held at Headingley Cricket Ground. The Princess carries an impressive bouquet of carnations and trailing fern and is escorted by Sir Edwin Airey, of the building company, William Airey and Son Leeds Ltd. The Lady Mayoress walks behind the Princess and the Lord Mayor, Alderman Hugh Lupton brings up the rear of the procession.
